Netanyahu and Trump attacked treacherously, like the bad guys in western movies, while it again appeared as if negotiations were still continuing, that is, in a way contrary to the laws of war. They are playing the typical role of the “bad guys,” whose words cannot be trusted at all. Though, the attack on Iran involved acts much more cruel than what a western movie could offer. One of these is the massacre of children. They began by bombing a primary school and killing 167 children at once.
Another disgusting act is the rape of children. According to allegations, Trump is a kind of hostage in Israel’s hands because of certain videos; it is claimed that there are numerous blackmail videos in the Epstein files in which Trump threatens with death the children he allegedly raped and that he launched the attack on Iran because of this blackmail.
Obviously, the reason for the attack lies in Israel’s desire for regional dominance and expansion, as well as the United States’ effort to gain superiority over Russia and China by pulling Iran into its own sphere of influence.
The U.S.–Israeli aggressors struck Iran’s top leader, Khamenei and his senior commanders in the very first attack, but Iran also managed to respond to the attacks. China and Russia are indirectly supporting Iran in this war, because if Iran falls, they will also suffer major damage.
Trump, as expected, called on the Iranian people for “freedom”. Using the words “Your time for freedom has come. When we are done, take over your government,” Trump – and the “freedom” that the United States has promised to the world and the region until today – has, as we have experienced for decades, led to nothing but death, migration, plunder and tears.
In fact, Iran has been weakened due to internal unrest that has been deliberately instigated for a long time; masses dissatisfied with the mullah regime are being manipulated to serve imperialist aggression. The purposes for which the slogan “Jin, Jiyan, Azadi!” [Women, Life, Freedom!] is promoted are known by many people. Western imperialists and Zionists, just as they did in Syria, have this time united six Kurdish organizations in Iran to manipulate the Kurdish people. The U.S. imperialists, in this war, are also trying to enlist the Kurds of Iraq and Syria – whose blood they see as cheap – into the dirty work of Western imperialists through threats and promises of a national state. Captives from ISIS, transported from Syria, are also expected to be sent to the frontlines in the Western imperialists’ “freedom” war.
The picture they want to create is a shattered Iran. For this purpose, the characterless Reza Pahlavi is being polished in front of the media by Western imperialists; on the other hand, it is noteworthy that groups like the People’s Mujahideen, empowered by the U.S., emphasize “democracy”, “equality and coexistence” and “freedom.”
A portion of the Iranian people is being attempted to be manipulated; however, on the other hand, there is a strong anti-imperialist opposition in Iran. It is not surprising as a policy that Western powers highlight only the opposition that relies on imperialism. In Iran, the people are also demonstrating an honorable stance against U.S. imperialism and Israeli Zionism.
We know that freedom cannot be achieved under the guidance of the U.S. and Western imperialists; freedom comes through the struggle against imperialism and Zionism. In this context, from the experience in Syria, we know well that the politics idealized as the “third way”, which obscures the enemy, in practice leads to cooperation with imperialism. Those who try to manipulate the people in this way, as if revolutionaries were unaware of history and the present, are asking, “Should we support the mullah regime in Iran?”
Our movement once again expresses that it stands alongside the Iranian people against the imperialist attack on Iran. Without struggle against the U.S. and Israeli aggression developing in the Middle East, workers, laborers and no people can achieve freedom. The “freedom” that U.S. imperialism has brought to our region since 1990 has resulted in the massacre of millions and the destruction of countries.
The bloody schemes orchestrated in Iraq, Libya, Syria and Lebanon in line with Israel’s regional interests are now intended to be carried out in Iran. Lebanon is again a target.
A short time ago, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee openly stated what they aim for in the region by claiming that Israel has the right to take the lands referred to in the Torah as the “promised lands.”
Of course, we must oppose reactionary and oppressive regimes in the region. But first and foremost, we must oppose U.S. imperialism and Zionism, which have carried out comprehensive attacks to enslave the peoples of the region since the beginning of the century.
U.S. imperialists and Zionists faced a stronger resistance in Iran than in the 12 day war of last year. There is no U.S. military base or embassy in the region that has not been hit. The city of Tel Aviv in Israel is under accurate missile bombardment from Iran. According to public opinion polls, only 25 percent of the U.S. public supports the war. Voices opposing the country following Israel’s policies are increasing within the U.S. anti-imperialist reactions against the war are growing in Turkey and various countries around the world.
The defeat of the treacherous U.S.-Israel alliance will deliver a heavy blow to the attacks carried out in our region since 2001. Continuing this process will prevent the massacre of the peoples of Palestine and Lebanon. At the same time, it will also thwart the trap intended to make peoples in the region and in our country kill each other. If this process continues and develops, it will make the colonization of Latin American countries under the Monroe Doctrine more difficult and it will allow Cuba, under heavy economic blockade, to breathe.
The day is the day to reveal the anti-imperialist and anti-fascist united resistance power of the peoples in our country and in the region against the imperialist bandits.
